Church in the AM at Calvary AG, then a subway ride to Central Park.

We walked from the middle of the park to the south end, to the zoo.

The park was beautiful.






We most enjoyed walking through this building. We went up the narrow stairs to the various balconies and porches.















The hightlights at the zoo were the red pandas and the birds.

Saturday

On Friday April 11, 2008, we headed to New York City for the state Bible Quiz meet.

Calvary Assembly of God hosted the meet on Saturday. Here's our team: Leigha, Amanda, and Joel. We finished 5th out of 8 teams, which was what we expected based on the results of all of the season's matches.

Joel scored just high enough to get a trophy for individual scoring (tenth out of 34).

After the quizing we went to Times Square for supper.

Here we are with our youth pastor.

Its no big deal if there is a 90 minute wait for a table at ESPN Zone. Just hang out in the game room.
